When you look at the biggest steps in humanity moon landing, robots on Mars may arise. But let’s be honest, we can’t get to that level yet. What we can do is make a small model rocket and learn the first step in building one.
Indeed, that is the aim of the game. I have gathered a small team of engineers to get this into action. A lot of patience and work will probably be necessary, but I think launching a self-made rocket would be a great success story! The team is composed of Raphael, Romain, Bassel, Adrien and me. 😀 It seems the project can even unite rival universities \s.
Currently, the project has no name yet and is in the research phase. Once that done we will get to work on making a first launch. Once the first launch is achieved, we are hoping to introduce a thrust vector control system into our rocket. This system modifies the angle of the thrust, allow the rocket to autocorrect its trajectory. Complex electronic systems with some probably complicated tuning are anticipated.
